Thrift shopping

I've been having an online pre-shopping spree these days, and I thought it was about damn time I learnt how to control myself, so I decided to go to Savers after work yesterday to get some cute cheap clothes. And I have to say I've never felt any better than going to the cashier and finding out that all the things I bought above cost me $26. One of the things I'm glad to be in the US this summer - you can buy thrift clothes for a VERY low price! (and I mean it, the thrift shops in Japan are awesome but they are usually quite pricey)

最近オンラインプレショッピングにハマりすぎて、そろそろ制御しなきゃなと思い、つい昨日近くの古着屋さん（Savers)に行ってきました。上のアイテム全部で$26という感動的なお値段に、幸せと満足感でいっぱいでした。今年の夏日本に帰らないで得した事：アメリカの古着はとことん安い！

The polka dot shirt on the left and the striped shirt on the right are for my work. I desperately needed a cute work clothes, so I bought these to pair up with my black pants. They are absolutely gorgeous in person I have to tell you. The polka dot one makes you look classy without being too plain and boring, while the stripy one is a fine little refreshing top to wear in summer. The silky shirt in the middle is Ralph Lauren (but cost me only $7, probably the most expensive one out of all the five). I was actually debating whether to get this one or the other non-brand one, but oh my god Ralph Lauren always steals my heart (at Savers). This piece just falls perfectly in place, so clean and loose, I can't wait to pair it with shorts and the bags I bought with it. I've been searching for a nice and small black backpack FOREVER since I like having my hands free when I'm photographing. And I finally met with my destined one at Savers. One little unique thing about this fellow is that it has a cute stitching on the flap (what's the official name?). The other bag is so structured, yet so versatile I cannot wait to use with, well almost anything!

ドット柄のシャツとストライプシャツは仕事着用に買いました。最初は半信半疑で選んだのですが、試着してみたら凄く可愛くて即買い！ドット柄のは大人っぽさとキュートさの両方を備えていて、逆にストライプシャツは夏っぽくてフレッシュな感じ。真ん中に写っているシルクシャツはラルフローレンの物です。これともう一つ他のシルクシャツとで迷っていたのですが、やはりラルフローレン・・・体にストンとフィットする感じと、ルースでクリーンなイメージがあったのでこっちに決めました。このシャツにショーパンと一緒に買ったバッグを合わせるのが楽しみ！黒いバックパックは昔からずっと欲しくて、やっといいのが見つかりました！フラップ部分に刺繍が施してあってとてもユニークなんです。これを背負って写真をバンバン撮るのが楽しみ ;-) もう一つの方はしっかりしていて、その反面どんな服装にも合いそう。早く使いたいな！
