The little something

I am currently interning as a marketing & graphic designer at a local museum, and so I thought it would be a good idea to share with you all the pictures of the museum + the scenery of the commuting path (sidenote: I usually either bike or walk to the museum...former takes 25min, the latter 40min. It's insane, I know).

今年の夏、私は近くの美術館でマーケティングとグラフィックデザインのインターンとして働くことになりました。折角なのでこの場を借りて皆さんに美術館と通勤路の写真を見せたいと思います。（注記：普段私は自転車、又は徒歩通勤なのですが、前者は２５分、後者は４０分もかかります。きついですよね）

The first four pictures are one of my favorite galleries in the museum. It features contemporary art, and you can see how colorful, bizarre, abstract, vibrant and lively they are. Being an intern at a museum, you have a privilege to walk around the museum any time you want for free, so I take advantage of that mostly everyday.

最初の四枚は、美術館の中で三本の指に入るくらい気に入っている、現代美術のギャラリーです。カラフルで、変わっていて、活気に満ちた作品ばかりですよね。美術館のインターンだと、好きなときに好きなだけ美術館を探索出来るので、私はほぼ毎日その特権を利用しています。

My commuting path changed ever since I looked up on google map to see whether there was any shortcuts to the museum. Yes, there was. But only 4min earlier (hahaha). But I love my new commuting route, its full of greenery, cafes and restaurants, interesting signage and old buildings. It's been raining quite a lot these days, so the outdoor pictures seem a bit dull, but nonetheless, the trees and the leaves are absolutely beautiful!

前の通勤路は遠回り（と言っても４分の差だけ）だったので、この間グーグル地図で近道を探した所、今の通勤路にたどり着きました。たった４分の差ですが、今の通勤路は緑が多いし、カフェやレストラン、素敵な看板や古いビルがたくさんあるので、凄く気に入っています。最近はよく雨が降るので、写真の方が何だか暗くなってしまいましたが、それでも４０分の通勤が全く苦にならないくらい素晴らしい景色ばかりです。
