Hi everyone! How's your summer treating you?

I just came back from Cancun last week. The weather was beautiful, and the beaches were absolutely gorgeous...I already miss the aqua blue/turquoise ocean! I was only in Cancun for 4 nights 5 days, but I pretty much lived in water and mexican food haha. My boyfriend and I also went out to Xel-ha for snorkeling at a river/sea too, and I could not get over how beautiful the life under water was! How I wish there were beaches like this near my town. I'd really love to revisit this place again soon, and if I do get a chance, I would love to do more crazy water activities!

私はつい先週カンクンから帰ってきました。天気は素晴らしく、海もうっとりするくらい綺麗でもう既にカンクンが恋しくなってきました。４泊５日のステイでしたが、私はほとんど海とメキシカン料理で心を癒していました。土曜日には少し遠出をして、シェルハの方までスノーケリングをしに行きました。たくさんの色とりどりの魚が見れてとっても満足！こんな素晴らしい海や川が、私の住んでいる地域にもあればなと切実に思いました。今度カンクンに行くチャンスがあったらもっとエキサイティングな水中アクティビティーに挑戦したいです。

Right after a day I came back from Cancun, I had my first day of internship at a local museum. It has been 2 weeks now since I started, and all I have to say is that I absolutely LOVE everything about my job...The environment (who hates working at a museum?), the people, my job (designing & re-designing publications) etc. Not to mention, my recent growing obsession with workwear! If only I had money, I would be buying all kinds of work clothes from Banana Republic, J. Crew, ASOS...but since my internship is unpaid and I have no paid job at the moment, I have to save up money for a better use. Oh well, at least I asked my mom to bring her old unworn clothes when she visits me!

カンクンから帰ってきた次の日にインターンシップが始まりました。これから２ヶ月半、私は地元の美術館でマーケティング・グラフィックデザインのお仕事をすることになりました。念願のインターンシップ！（今年の抱負通り！）始めて既に２週間が経ちますが、今の所感想は「楽しい」の一言です。環境（美術館が嫌いな人なんているんでしょうか？）、同僚、仕事そのもの全て含めて望み通りで嬉しい限りです。そのせいか、ビジネスカジュアルな服装にも最近はまってきました。もし金欠でなければ、バナリパやJ. Crew, ASOSなどで色んなお洋服を買えたのにな・・・。このインターンは無給の上、有給のお仕事を一つもやっていないので、貯金しないとお金が減って行く一方です。でもその代わり母が来月末、自分のおさがりをたくさん持って来てくれるというのでそれを楽しみに生きます。
